Gelati Monastery is a medieval monastery founded by David the Builder. The monastery was erected at a time when Georgia experienced the most powerful economic, political and religious upheavals, in honor of joining the territory of Georgia to the rich and fertile region of Kakheti and the victory over the Turkish troops.

Monastery of Motsameta or the Monastery of Martyrs David and Constantine is a quiet and cozy shrine, located near the Gelati monastery, above the gorge, where the stormy, impetuous stream flows Rioni. According to the legend, the monastery was erected on the place of the church destroyed by the Arabs, on the place where the brothers David and Constantine - the leaders of the Georgian troops, were killed by the Arab conquerors for rejection of renunciation of orthodoxy.

Sataplia Natural Reserve was founded more than 75 years ago. A few years ago it was seriously renewed and is being actively advertised. The three main attractions of the reserve are a pavilion with preserved dinosaur footprints, a karst cave and a glass balcony - an observation deck on the top of Mount Sataplia (the highest point of the reserve). Traces of dinosaurs were found in the 30s of the 20th century by one of the residents of the surrounding villages, a few years later a reserve was organized at this place.

Bagrat Temple is a unique building. We can freely say that this is a fresh breath of air for Georgian architecture. Beautiful ornaments and the geometry of the building itself cannot fail to amaze. On the dome of the temple is a 2-meter bronze cross weighing 300 kilograms.
